Have an old soul. It's a cult classic in the bourbon community, and our design makes it stand out on the darkest of bar shelves. We've worked with Cathead Distillery, the oldest distillery in Mississippi, since 2010. Before working on their Old Soul Bourbon brand, we had already completed 92 projects for the distillery. Our first project for Old Soul Bourbon had a fake title because the owner was so secretive about the name. We get it. Old Soul is an incredible name for a bourbon, and it was worth signing the NDA to hear it.

The name alone lit a fire in us; We penciled 18 different concepts for the Old Soul Bourbon label. Everything on the final label is based on our original pencil drawings, including an illustration of the distillery, which has become a regional destination for music and bourbon lovers. The labeling process has multiple touchpoints, which add an extra layer of care. It's more than an aesthetic detail; the belly band promotes the retailer relationships that are behind select barrels.

When you make a great product with a hard-hitting name, you need intentional creative behind it.
