Kat obtained her B.F.A from NYU for Film and Television Production. After several years of freelancing, she realized writing was her true focus. Currently, she is working on her M.F.A for Dramatic Writing at SCAD.

When not writing, Kat is living a suburban dream with her husband, picket fence, and two babies (one human, one cat). She tends to her hydrangeas and is getting into quilting, really leaning into coastal grandma vibes. Her lifestyle fully juxtaposes her snarky comedic style.
